Lost instruction book, tried to set timer for recording but didn't work. Went into time settings and the time was wrong but the only thing that could be altered was gmt offset and summertime. How do I alter the time?

Go into Time Settings, turn GMT Off, then you should be able to manually alter the time, once done turn GMT On again.

Afraid that didn't work, still can't alter the time. I can change gmt offset and switch summertime on and off but that's all. Gmt on is greyed out so can't switch it off so is local time. Any other suggestions?

Which version of the receiver do you have?
I seem to remember someone else experiencing this problem but can't remember the solution.
You could try backing up your channel list, doing a factory reset, re-loading the latest patch, doing another reset, then try altering the time, before loading your channel list.

I think the only time alteration needed is the hour figure to set your time turn off Summer time then if incorrect go to GMT offset alter the hour using < > on your remote to correct hour time. The min. time is always automatic and should be correct once you have set correct time exit and save.
