Hello all,

A little explanation may be in order.

I have sky+ and am getting frustrated at being tied in to a service which I don't watch.

So playing it safe, looking for a replacement I purchased an s1500c receiver.

Its all really new, and I don't have a clue about the terminology.

I have managed to get the majority of the freeview channels, apart fro Dave so expect plenty requests for help.

Hi Mark,
Welcome to the forum and your new hobby.
For starters I suggest you read the stickys and posts in the Icecrypt section. Much will depend on what you want to get from your box, remenber C/S discussions are not allowed so you have to dig very deeply on that subject. If you are happy buying official cards then you will get a better viewing experience than from S*y i.e with Aljazera sports and Satelite BG are good starters. There are other ways of opening channels but as I said do some reading first.
