I thought that the only Spiderbox receivers were - 5000 - 7000 - 9000 & 9900

It could be for the new optimax spider receiver. I wouldn't advise trying to load it onto a Spiderbox 5000, or any other model, at least not yet.
Strange that some forums have this new software listed under the Spiderbox 5000SD section, along with other patches, but I still don't think it's safe to use.

firmware appears to be for this receiver
which is sometimes called superbox
