I think there is a problem with the links as they will not play with vlc either.

Also not working, I think maybe the stream info changes on a regular basis.
Test the stream with VLC first.

i realise this post is a few weeks old but i just wanted to say that teh stream.xml file either doesnt like to be edited or if you edit it incorrectly the green software screen will appear .this also happens with the nstream xml file . i tried to edit both and add streams ,when i did i got the green screen . i went back to the nstream xml file and deleted the links i put in and saved and exited and nstream worked again with no green screen . when i edited the stramtv xml file and i got a green screen i went back and deleted the links i had put in then saved and exited but i still got the green screen . so my advice to anyone reading this is that before you edit the stream.xml file use dream control center or simillar to save a copy of the stream.xml file on your pc .then you can edit the stream.xml file on the box and add links safe in the knowledge that if the links dont work and you get the green screen that you can simply delete the stream.xml file thats in the box and use dcc to send a copy of the working stream.xml file (thats saved on your pc) back to the box . also maybe its an idea for people to upload a copy of their stream.xml files to the vu section here for other people to use , that way if someone didnt save a copy of their stream.xml file on their pc and they have a green screen that they could download a stream.xml file from the vu section here ,just a thought .
