Hi,

I`m trying to upgrade from a working system (VU+ Duo with BH 1.7.2 running CCcam v2.1.4) I`m trying to update to BH 1.7.9
I`ve installed the new BH 1.7.9 it looks OK running ok but when I`ve installed the cccam as normal (as installed on BH 1.7.2)
when I come to press the blue button to run the cam (or even reboot) its not running the cam a message comes up saying

Sorry. Wrong image in flash found You have to install in flash.
Blackhole image v.1.7.2

I`ve tried the normal way running TSpanel download the cam and run it to install, this is the way I`ve always run/installed it in previous BH
I`ve also even tried to install via VU+ Control Centre install cccam to temp folder and run from there but the out come is still the same Sorry wrong image.

I`ve even tried to go back to square one run orginal VU+ image then work up to BH (also installing the memory update

Rev. 3.0

- Increase the update usb file size to 128M Bytes
- Change the flash memory map(kernel size : 4M, /boot : 2M)

Then run BH but again no good on 1.7.9

I`ve gone back to 1.7.2 and installed cccam again its all working fine so can any kind sole help me with this 1.7.9 upgrade

Thanks

PS

I checked the bootloader seems OK this is what it says

yes i`ve done this but still the same.

I`ve gone back to 1.7.2 again. Its working with cccam 2.1.4 and TSpanel all OK.

can you give me a start to finish in what order I should do this install. i`ve tried to do what has worked in the past but its still saying when I try to get the cam working (pressing blue button to start cam) Sorry wrong image in flash found, you have to install in flash.BH image v 1.7.2

It looks like BH 1.7.9 has been installed showing a different start up and different options in menu (like the weather plug in) so it working all ok freesat etc all pic ok it just this cccam bit I`ve tried doing install via TSpanel and also tried install via temp then using green/yellow buttons to install the file. It says its installed. Also when I do press the blue button its showing as installed. But when you press the OK button to run it, thats when the message comes up........... sorry wrong image.......................

Are you loading the image to flash or multiboot ?

Are you loading the image to flash or multiboot ?

do you mean the cccam is not being installed correctly or blackhole/

I`ve tried installing cccam by downloading it via TSpanel and running/installing it from there (same as I`ve done in BH 1.7.2) also I`ve tried to run cccam via using VU control centre moving it over to the temp dir, the cccam file ending in bh.tgz.

Then I`ve run it/installed using the coloured buttons on ther VU+ Duo.

Its the same either way same problem........

Can you just tell me in a A to Z what I should do first and so on.....

Why its different on this BH compaired to the others I`ve done, I`ve no idea

1. Update CFE as per the link I have already posted.
2. Load the new image directly in to the flash.
3. Add your settings and use CCCam from HERE (https://www.satpimps.co.uk/showthread.php?142280-VuPlus-Community-Black-Hole-Image-EMU-S)

Do not load TS Panel to see eliminate if that is an issue.

Hi,

I seem to have got it working now. I think the main problem was when I installed everything I let the wizzard install all my saved settings. The lot includding the cccam settings. This time I said no and only reinstalled my personal settings not the full settings. My cam was still installed as it still showed up when I pressed the blue button but this time it started and worked. So I used VU+ Control Centre to copy over the cccam.cfg file and its all working again. It showed up in Information/about as Firmware Blackhole 1.7.9

so thanks for your help
