manual scan for channel 5 HD

I am trying to manual scan Freq 12266 Horizontal. Symbol Rate 29500.DVB-S2 QPSK MOD.FEC3/4 taken from king of sat on 28.2
for Sly sports news.HD. Espn HD.and the main one i really want is Channel 5 HD. but signal is 75% in red and quality nothing so there is nothing to scan iv'e tried playing about with mod and fec but still nothing any help would be much appreciated.

use usb channel list if its not picking it up, there is one on here for sty only

No problems here, what's your signal quality/strength, on other channels on 28.2E?
Are you located in the UK?
I tried late last night, saelected manual scan, pressed the green button, then ehtered the data provided, 12266 29500 H DVB-S2 QPSK 3/4, the signal came booming in at 98%.

signal quality and srength vary on different transponders but on the whole signal about 80% quality simular i live in the n/w of england it seems to be that transponder only.

wonder if the buffers full, you should not have a problem whatsoever pulling that in, did you try doing it with stick?

I am in the n/w and C5 HD working fine here at 75% signal and 84% quality on that transponder
sly sp news also ok and same figures on same transponder

espn HD Is on 12324V 29500 and similar figures and working ok

have you tried my channel list ?

maybe you have busted the transponder or channel limits allowed by the spiderbox ?

check you dont have too many of either (transponders and/or channels)

Rescan, rescan, rescan!!!

Edit your channel list and remove the dross. Job done. Had to do the above for TCM HD and a few others also. Not just on Spiderbox's either but everyone is affected as Sly have been moving channels around like crazy. If that don't work then replace your channel list completely with a new, known working one (echelon's) or upgrade to the new VU+ 2 Series. :)

i would like to say a big thankyou to everyone trying to help. I now have it sorted i hooked my technomate 6800hd to my old sly dish upstairs low and behold channel 5 sly sports espn was perfect
the only thing the transponder was 12262 not 12266.and freq was 29497 not 29500.went downstairs put these new settings into spider all working perfect
