Fine here Sw Eng.....but I am using a 2m dish. Probably the rain is a problem with smaller dishes.
Ditto here in N Yorkshire - signal was poor all afternoon then finally lost it totally at 16.40. I suspect it's a transponder fault - hope it is anyway :( Using a 1m Orbital btw.
I should add the rain isn't heavy enough to affect signal this badly. I suspect it's a problem or - hopefully not - deliberate action at their end.

No fault, just the level of rain. Signal throughout the game here.

It is. Transponder is fine now though, signal is slightly down on normal but that could be attributable to rain here.

Always seems to bloody rain on ruddy match day. :)
All back and working now that all the games are over. I wonder if there's more to it than dear old sky daddy dear taking a shower.
no problem here with a 1.2m near manchester, although its ****ing down big time and the signal is now at 62% where its normally at about 88% so i guess its just peeps with smaller dishes that are suffering.
Ian.
Mine went off too y'day during the second half of the city game. Seemed to be completely dead all night. Just checked this morning and all back on - PLTV S83/ Q62, 80cm, inverto black lnb in the NW.
Couldn't have been the rain that affected the signal that bad as it's been fine in much worse....

Signal here down few % this morning .. i even tried adjusting my Inverto black pro C120 in LNB holder but now i can only achieve max of 77%-78% on PLTV HD
where pretty much all day yesterday signal was steady at 80% ..so ive lost maybbe 2 or 3% signal level i dont know if this is something to be concerned about ??
i hope it does not decrease anything more however because UTD V Swansea kicks off at 1:30PM TODAY .

I think your probably pushing it with an 80cm seeing as the downlink stations for this channel are using 2.5m minimum, if the same happens like 3-4 weeks ago and they lower transmission power anyone with an 80cm in the northwest will lose it completely you should really consider a 1m minimum and even that at times on low power can be hit and miss.

i know is off topic but ..MUTV Feed on 10e 11646 v 01613 FEC 5/6 DVB S2 8PSK ~ [ 11646V SID 0X01 ] has increased a lot upto 95% now : )

What's everyones reception like during the Chelsea game? Couldn't get anything when I looked during the 1st half. It's on the edge now during the break. My tm6800 needs 63% qual for a HD channel. It's quite windy here in West Yorks and my 1m dish may not be 100% aligned (but it's not far off) Al Jaz Children is still the normal level.

Midlands 1.1M dish and like everyone else, I lost it yesterday too. Today it's back but where I was getting 70-78% signal before I now only get 54-61%. So I think there is definitely more to this than just the weather. I reckon a couple of weeks and it'll be gone for a lot of us and sadly, a bigger dish is never going to be an option for me.
Update: Now it's almost back to normal. Think I'll just shut my big mouth now. :)
Midlands 1.1M dish .......
Hope your not a Villa fan. That was embarassing!

Nope. ManU. Just as bad.
Great entertainment at poor Villa's expense.
Just hope we aren't playing Chelski anytime soon or at least until they relax a bit. :)

Signal back at 80% again for Chelsea game and yes 8-0 was indeed embarressing for Villa but they was always gonna be the Victims today was just a question of how bad ..and it was very very bad ..they were not in the game whatsoever and Chelsea made them pay ,
Swansea were pretty dirty and played all out for a draw i still cant believe there was no Red card shown for that player that kicked ball from 1 yard out against RVP's Head ..but i will admit Utd were unbelievably lazy and totally asleep and when they did create thier chances they seemed to lack any real motivation ,
SAF tried to bring in Scholes,Giggs and even Hernandez but Rooney shoulda been taken off a lot quicker he had a rotten game and maybbe it mite very soon be his last in a utd shirt ...unless he shows something real special im sure Rooney will be leaving Utd in Jan Transfer window ,
even tho' Utd find themself Top by 4 points i still am very far from imperssed by thier preformance especially today .
lets hope it gets better on Boxing day against the geordies i know it couldnt get much worse , lol's !!!

I have had 60 & 68% all day hear in Spain, have had better. Ref Rooney, quicker he goes the better.
No glitches today but signal is still slightly down on normal - under clearer skies it was 76% still, compared to 80% or so normally. No glitches though and I think it should be enough now, unless it really tips it down or they drop signal again.

Just out of curiosity, what sort of signal strength / quality should I expect to get viewing PLTV on a 1.1 mtr Triax dish?
I suspect my dish needs a bit of tweaking as I get around 50/60 at the moment.
We did have a very windy few days last week down here.

I get around 80% or more and that is my exact dish with an inverto ultra lnb fitted which definitely improves the signal so anyone not using the inverto should consider changing to one

For me Signal was hitting 87% steady but only in last hour during Arsneal v southampton game signal has dipped down again however to 83-84%
using 88cm Triax Dish inverto black ultra LNB and tmate motor .
So it can fluctuate maybbe 4 or 5% in signal level but still gives a very stable steady picture regardless .

i thought it might be a TP problem because the other channels seem to have signal on 10e
and no problem on the other satellites,
maybe i'll have to check out the allignment...

0.1 motorised 1.1M SE Midlands.
I got all my stiuff from Goldwafers so they'll know for sure what I have. :)
Can't quite understand how Arsen Wenger has gone all these years without having even one heart attack. Talk about stressy.
The Saints were robbed BTW.
