Service Scan

I have a motorised vu Uno running VTI 4.2. All has been running fine over the last year but was slowly loosing channels on hotbird & Astra.

As VTI 5.0 was released I decided to do a fresh install, now my installer advised me that with my setup I should be able to receive from 30w to 28e. I have a 1 metre triax dish and created a new statelites.xml with the required sats and installed in etc/enigma 2.

I’m currently running a service scan with the required sats and its currently scanning Atlantic bird 12.5 w but so far I have 0 services found. Is this normal as I was expecting to see some channels?

It’s the first time I have scanned the complete range as previously I was only viewing hotbird & astra.

Thanks for the reply. When you say the sats need setting up what do you mean? I have setup my tuner with the longitude & latitude settings that were given to me by my Installer.

thats for usuals so it should be set up right
just try scanning hot bird and astra

and see if the channels you lost are there
