I have installed bootloader ver 1.54. The installation was done using Porter+RS cable. Working good. Now I want to install Maxiboot to have optional E2 on rear USB. First I try to install new bootloader according to Sticky: How to install E2 - by ManikM. The procedure stops after :
CRC Check - OK (bootloader image on USB stick). No special info was displayed on ice. I wait aprox 15 min and than restart ice by power off/onn. The unit started normally but with 1.54 (old one) bootloader. Any help?

you can use the AAF recovery tool ,beware once you got maxiboot installed you can not use porter express if you get problems with the original firmware or maxiboot

Yes I used AAF Recovery, accoring to "How to install E2 - by ManikM" sticky topic. And so far:
CRC Check - OK (bootloader image on USB stick). No special info was displayed on ice. I wait aprox 15 min and than restart ice by power off/onn. The unit started normally but with 1.54 (old one) bootloader.

You can install maxiboot as a plug-in from here "https://www.satpimps.co.uk/showthread.php?157469-New-Maxi-Flasher-E2-Boot-Loader-T11-BA09" Select the right one for your STB it doesn't work with all memory sticks so try a different one fat32 formated with nothing else on there I myself used a memory card with a USB card reader ,if you are using AAF make sure you change the reseller to what ever AAF version you are using (I'v seen atevio and octacon versions)once installed just change the reseller back to icecrypt
