Just installed my new supreme intelligent dark motor on my 1.1 metre dish, with solo2 as my reciever. Then i went to set the motor on 1 west usiung the bbc world news as a guide, got 99% signal. My longitude is -4.12 and latitude is 53.17 so when i selected usals the picture dissapeared with the dish moving slightly east,so i tweaked the longitude settings by 0.5 to -3.62 th dish started to inch west i ended up with setting of-0.92 got 99% signal ,then went to 4.8 west where signal was 29% I tweakedthe longitude to -0.72 this is where i got best signal 41% saved my settings after which i tried all the different sats on the arc all working ok from ******* to hisspasat, hope this is of any use to anyone

after setting your location in usals on the box, what you should have done was to select usals and send the dish to 5 west on any fta channel there, and your motor would have been about zero on its pointer which means it was pointing due south, then all you needed to do was peak the signals on 5w by adjusting the motor mount left or right and then lock it up ( 5w is your due south position - almost , so is about zero on the motor pointer)

@charlie how did you put the minus in ,ive posted elseware the way i set mine up was to subtract the minus figure from 360,so for you subtract 4,12 from 360.000,worked fine for me and 1west was closest to the 0 position on motor

simon 2003 if in uk your longitude is -3.12 just change your settings from east to west and put 3.12 when setting up initially
