Nuvi 265W update map.

Hi
I have a Nuvi 265W but the maps are two years old. I have managed to get the 2013 version and have put them on a SD card and put the SD card in the GPS but I do not know what to do next. When I connect the GPS to the PC it shows the SD card as seperate from the GPS.
Any help gratefully received.

tools/settings/my maps,on the nuvi, will tell you if maps ok,i think.when there you can make sure maps are ticked.
