Hi all, I would like help please how to config my twin tuner settings. I have to fix dish, one on 13deg hotbird and the other on 28 east. Tried different config and its doing my head in. Any help would be greatfull. Many thanks.

Two feeds from each dish? Or just one with a loop back?

Set up first one tuner. I assume a switch. Right?

If the box is loop back then set the second tuner like that. If not usually the second tuner is set to be the same of the first one. I forget how the box labels this but it's fairly clear.

choose simple and set the 13e feed to 13e hotbird, and set the 28.2e feed to astra 2

if using a diseqc switch then set that particular feed to that setting

so if tuner a is hotbird

menu - service searching - tuner config - tuner A

SIMPLE
SINGLE
13.0e eutelsat hotbird 13a/13b/13c
SEND DISEQC - no

Tuner B

SIMPLE
SINGLE
28.2e EUTELSAT + ASTRA 1N/2A/2B/2F
SEND DISEQC - no

reverse if the feeds are the other way round

and if using a diseqc switch on either feed use:-

DISEQC A/B/C/D

THEN CHOOSE PORT A and choose the satellite it uses , repeat for ports B and C and D too

set voltage + 22 khz tone - YES
SEND DISEQC................. - NO

Many thanks zeke qnd echelon ive always had a single tuner so its bit confusing, yes im 2 dish as as single feed so I can switch satellite to another without disconnecting cable. Not at home at the moment but will try when I get back and let you both know ok. Many thanks again.

if its a single feed from a diseqc switch then setup one tuner (tuner A) as the simple diseqc option , and choose the correct 2 ports from 4 depending on how your switch is connected to each dish

so if hotbird is on A and astra 2 is on B then use A and B in the simple diseqc setup, leaving C and D blank , using tuner A if the feed comes into tuner A , and tuner B if it uses B instead
