Vu+Uno AS A NEWCAMD CLIENT

Hi there guys,
I`m trying to setup my spiderbox as a newcamd server for my Vuplus Uno in my bedroom. I have read about how to set the spiderbox as a server but the problem is to set the Vuplus Uno as a receiving client. any help will be very much greatful. thanks.

install cccam emu on the vu+ ,,,,,,enter your n line into cccam cfg on the vu,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,
have a read through the forum lots of help with cccam

install mgcamd on your uno and edit the newcamd.list file. ive used a vu uno as a server and client and it was flawless,regards mdt

ok set your Spiderbox ip setup to manual and press apply (make a note of the spiderboxes ip address)
lets say it's 192.168.1.8

Go to Network Newcamd server setup

Turn type to ON
Port 13000
press ok on User setup
press ok on 01. & turn ON
ID: regi
Password: wills
press apply
Exit
and press apply

now your Line will be something like this

N: 192.168.1.8 13000 regi wills 01 02 03 04 05 06 07 08 09 10 11 12 13 14

If you have CCcam installed you can ftp your line into your CCcam.cfg file on your VUNO

your config folder will be in etc/
