Icecrypt 6000 EPG

Anyone had any issues with the EPG on this receiver , this one seems to default to ASTRA 19 degrees when receiver is set to astra 2 , I have set epg to on when in standby but when yoiu reboot it has gone , when it is there it is mostly ok some programme info missing, is there a fix or is it yet another bug to live with with icecrypt.

Welcome to the nightmare. These devices are defective firmwares and EPG has been a major problem from the start.
EPG will only populate with LNB Loop-through.
You have to manually change it back to" Standby Mode EPG- On.
Can you tell me if you get Basic functions on external media- such as rewind, Fast Forward and all that?

do you know what polar edit is and does this help?

Polar edit is a channel editing software. This has nothing to do with the epg problems you are describing.

the clue is in the name , as in

polar = ice

edit = channel EDITor

I think it could be because the German author of the software is "Polarstern" (North Star, Pole Star, Polaris) on the Octagon.de forum
