OK ... so I DON'T have one before you all say something!!
What format size is the HDD for the Solo2??
2.5" or 3.5"

2.5" if you want to put it inside,
whatever you like outside of the box !

Had a look at the spec & user manual - none of them say what size!!
So .. if I went to buy one, I would have to:- take it apart, see what size drive fits, order one, wait, then install.
As it don't have an esata port; I guess an external drive is seen as USB (unless you alter fstab)

OK, I (honest) did use the search; but it is not that good!
and - yes I did see that post, but there is a mix of drive physical sizes mentioned!

there is no mix in that duo thread by PEDIGREE when later referring to the solo2 , I even listed one that I fitted into a solo2
it was ironman muddying the waters by posting in a duo thread in the duo section, as a duo can take either size internally

No need to alter fstab oldfart, just use device manager to assign it as media/hdd
I've got a usb hdd connected to mine this way and unlike with my dm800 it works perfectly.
