don think it has latest drivers

Yes to both but not played with this image enough yet. So for now I still prefer OpenAZBox. :)

how old is the kernel ?

my views:

cons
VERY Slow to boot.
get a black screen intermittently when recording and watching program
no easy option to download channel lists \ picons for UK.
crashed on spinners this morning when left over night.

pros
correctly adjusting aspect ratio when switching from 4:3 to 16:9 materials
nice looking epg and single tp view.
nice splash screen
nice skin lots of info re channels.


too slow and buggy for me tho, going back to good old OPEN RSI dailies.

No such issues on the ME but I decided to stick with OpenAZBox anyway. As nice as the new 'SpAZe is it does not like to play TS files and is slow to unencrypt some channels. Have reported on developers web site. This is a beta , so hopefully all will be fixed in next release. :)

Have had a good play this weekend and have now adopted this as my main image. :)
