Had a Vuduo for several years now. Best receiver I have used.
I also use openpli3 image and it is good, but I do notice for quite some time now, it can take several seconds for a HD channel to clear even if it is FTA.
It does improve sometimes with an update which happens very frequently, but then another update will knock it back a bit.

I am happy with it though. It does everything I want at the moment.

Go to BH 2.0.2. Changing channels is faster than a fast thing, HD or SD, FTA or scrambled <ahem>

I did try BH some time ago and preferred the picture quality of openpli to BH.

I may well try all the available images again one day when I have nothing to do.

The image has nothing to do with the picture quality, its the drivers.

I have always found OpenPli images to be bland and a trite boring and preferred 'based on' images such as SPA, RTi, RSI. As an AZBox owner one is stuck with such but not on VU or DM, thank God. Historically BH images have always gone one step futher than many contemporary images by offering more versatility, options and leading edge features as well as a superb interface and always a great and innovative skin.

Some users may find the complexity of BH images a little daunting or may not be aware or appreciate much of the functionality on offer and thus opt to use a simpler image such as OPli.

At the end of the day it's down to personal need and preference.
