I cannot try this as I dont have a 6000 to test on

BUT, I would have thought you could use the 7000 or 9000 HD lists, providing they dont go over the 6000 channel or maximum transponder limits

so if you download a spiderbox HD list that is less than 6000 channels you would have thought it should work, assuming the channel list you save on the 6000 box has the same file suffix ?

Sorry Spiderbox HD 7000, 9000 & 9900 channel list aren't compatible as the New Spiderbox HD 6000 Uses different CPU

I suppose that will be why the new patched firmware is also a different suffix too

That's a shame I have just reduced my 9000HD channel list down to below 6000 ready to load when my box arrives.

Back to building a new list from blind scan I guess

Thanks for your post Compass

Yes Echelon that is correct, It would seem that the channel database and firmware are different from the older SpiderBox HD series and neither will be compatible.
There will be a New Channel list soon.

Now will the other forum delete BillyBits Channel list for the HD6000, when uploaded on that forum?

Number of channels taken form KOS for what I consider the main satellites.
19e 1504 13e 2218 1w 963 28e 926 23e 349 16e 511 10e 90 9e 965 7e 349 5e 671 30w 621 =9167

Out of those how many of them do you consider useful. Hopefully I'm not on my own when I say this but, I tend to delete the useless channels ones encrypted/chat/shopping/duplicates/radio. Which lets face it on 13e is probably 40 % of its total. 6000 is a pretty good amount. I for one will be watching this box.

The box will do all I expect, the SHAME is to have to start and build a new list channel list again.
I have bought 3 9000HD spiders and I was not referring to price.

I still consider This as a hobby and it is about time I got down and started from new scans.

Hope box arrives today

M8 no idea what really are you talking !but check your mouth..

I have no 9900, but 6000 ,
This thread is for the 6000...if you really have any problem about 9900 or iks direct that in the right place.

Have a good day any way..

this thread has strayed off topic and so is now closed

I know what he is referring to as regards the 9900 , which was when the g*ft was pulled some owners did not get the IKS g*ft as a free transfer leaving them high and dry with their fingers burned and wallets lighter too

but that particular complaint is not for this thread or for this forum either
