Icecrypt s3500 connection via AV output

Hi. Again this is my third posting today. I do not think it is a fault with the box but thought somone might be able to recommend a workaround?

I brought the Icecrypt S3500 HD recorder with HDMI output as at sometime my SD TV will get updated. I can connect to the AV input on the TV or via one of the scart inputs via an adaptor. The problem is that when I use these inputs the TV will not automaticly change inputs when starting the box. I take it that the AV out on the box does not accomodate this function.

Any comment/workaround would be appreciated.

Mate, you are posting in the WRONG sections. Echelon has kindly moved 2 previous posts by yourself so you ain't doing any favours by continuing to post in the firmware section. Regarding the auto av selection; are you sure its not your tele causing the problem?.

Make sure you are using a fully wired scart lead as pin 8 has to be connected for this and are using the correct scart sockets as adviced in you tv and ice box manuals ,

I covered this over a year ago, to activate the phono av socket on the back of the icecrypt 3500 you have to go through the menus to the a/v output setting then go to display resolution and change it to 576i this will then allow you to use the av phono socket and it will work perfectly.

If you have done the above and you have purchased a cheap phono to scart lead off **** for example it wont work as icecrypt have different pinouts, contact turbosat in london to send you the correct lead and it will work fine with the above config.
