The transaction is expected to complete on July 31, 2013 after which BT will continue to operate at least one ESPN-branded channel.
I think beginning August 2013); 69 live Aviva Premiership Rugby matches for the next four seasons; and up to 800 hours per season of live women's tennis, including the TEB BNP Paribas WTA Championships.

This maybe what is needed for Sly Box users?

BT has indicated that they will be available on the Sky platform. Indeed, they currently have 2 "placeholder" channels labelled "Sailing 1" and "Sailing 2" at channels 445 & 447 on the Sky EPG. They also announced yesterday that they are acquiring the majority of ESPN's TV business in the UK and Ireland.
It is understood that BT may sell subscriptions to BT Sport via "Sly" themselves, rather than relying on Sky. However, they have not confirmed arrangements or pricing at this time.

No mate, you missed my point, that surely the BT channels have NUMBERS at present without allocated names, (e.g. 1453, 1678 etc etc) instead of channel NAMES - e.g. BBC 1 HD - or even BT1!!!
Hope you understand?:grouphug:

I only misunderstood due to you not explaining yourself properly in your original post
clearly I now understand seeing as you have used more words and explained the actual question properly, but from barneys answer it seems you are mistaken as they come up with the correct names on my spiderbox too

The EPG info associated with the channels in post #1 states:

BT Sport launches this summer. Check here regularly for a sneak peek of what you'll be able to watch. To sign up, all you need to do is go to _btsport.com.

It is all a bit vague when it comes to the cost of those channels.

I think you were being somewhat premature given it doesnt actually start for over 2.5 months and they are currently in the process of recruiting and getting it up and running, so if it was now the middle of july 2013 and nothing was in black and white it would have been time to worry

Well it seems to be causing a bit of excitement as BT is possibly one of the few UK companies that can challenge Sly on a sat platform.

Also, seems that BT are prepared to run it as a loss leader to get it up and running and expand their customer base.
