SES-5 Nordic

Hi all...Can anyone else pick up this sat SES-5,at 5 east? since all the nordic HD channels went on here i cant scan them in..Ive got a satellites.xml with 4.8/5.0..But the only HD channel i get still is viasatfilmHD(Still on 4A)..By the way im in london with a 95cm dish on motor..All other sats are perfect..

Ive tried on 1.2 metre dish in worcs & cant get owt from this bird

You could try 11-843H 27500 DVB-S Nordic BSS FTA signal 75% north UK very heavy rain, 1.8m Dish.

Sorry m8 thought you were just trying to lock the satellite, 11265-11385 are on Nordic beam 7.9, and would need a Dish larger than 2M even in the south of the UK,

Not a trace here even in fair weather conditions, on SES 5 Nordic beam 7.9 with the 1.8m PF Channel Master dish.

I would say in this situation, the further north you are the better chances of getting a signal

As this sat is focused on sweden norway denmark etc

Looks like east anglia or aberdeen with 1.2 meter dish should be ok

Nothing whatsoever here on SES 5 Nordic beam 2meter prime focus dish inverto black pro 0.2db

100% signal in North East UK. Every thing is encrypted apart from, TV2 pl2 and TV2 pl1 ac3 audio tracks on 11384v 30000 3/4 s2 8psk pilot on 0.25 roll off.
