Hi all
thinking of buying a new spiderbox 6000 hd, does anyone know if it comes with any pre installed patches,and where is the best place to buy it.

no it wont come with a preinstalled patch as its illegal to sell it that way

patching the box is easy and is done by the owner as its the owners responsibility and we have tutorials and files and plenty of help to aid you in this matter

as for buying , try goldwafers

You'll need a usb stick to load the s/w from your pc/lappy to the box, all very quick and simple.

im thinking of buying one as a 2nd receiver

for the money its an excellent choice for a second box, especially at less than £100 delivered from goldwafers

in my opinion its a no brainer for an HD sat box with both softcam and iks capabilities as well as provision for up to 8 additional c and/or n line additions

I bought one 3 weeks ago but didn't use it until the footy season was over, I didn't want the IKS to run out next year before the footy is over, I'll fire it up this weekend now its done and dusted.

Just my twopenneth it also has a very capable wireless facility and the tuner is exceptional delivers a great picture for such a small stb as ech says a no brainer for the money esp as a second box using mine in the shed down the garden. I don't know how well it turns a motor but should it be okay if its other qualities are anything to go by.
