kept loosing hdd

hi ive just put on black hole image 2.0.1 the thing is it keeps loosing the hdd one minute it can record to the hdd then when u turn of and back on it says no writable hdd found even no its there if I go to media files it shows all my movies and music plus the pvr button cant find my movies.

and 3.5 inch or 2.5 inch ?

internal 500gig 3.5inch been working fine for best of 3 years will work ok with other images just seems unstable with this image.

mine has 2.01 and seems fine
I would have thought you would put 2.03 on as a new image , not 2.01

hi I did put on 2.03 but it got stuck in a crash loop so I just went with 2.01 which seems fine. now at the minute it is seeing the drive and am streaming movies to it but when I turn of tonight then on in the morning it will ask me to initialize the hdd

Try setting the HDD standby time to 'never'
