CS Info text file

I have now created this file from the sat button of my TM7102 and downloaded the same from the Web.

Each time I have edited them in Notebook saved and uploaded to the STB. On every occasion it has not altered the existing ADDON settings.

The receiver says writing OK? and rebooting makes no difference.

Please help.

I too am having the same issue as follows :=

I am attempting to load the csinfo.txt file from a usb into the 8280 menu on a TM7102HD box.

The csinfo,txt is formated, I enter the 8280 menu and press the SAT button - the system says it has loaded OK but the items in the 8280 do not change - does this process work on a TM7102HD - and what am I doing wrong ?

Every time you press SAt button you are uploading a csinfo fil not downloading.
Go to Menu - USB - Data Transfer - Then select the CS info file from list - Press ok
When loaded exit menu.

OK thanks - seems I was confusing the direction of "Uploading and Downloading" - My logic thought that you "Uploaded" to the STB and "Downloaded" to the HD or USB stick ! Doh! Anyway now have a CSInfo.txt file successfully loading into the 8281 menu - Many thanks

I posted the original thread from memory (as I don't use ccam) you need to input info into each section, no blanks or it won't work.

yes it seems to need a skeleton layout and you fill in the bits you need and leave the rest alone :-)
