VU+ Duo may be a clone, won't flash original images?

I recently received a VU+ Duo from someone as a trade, but when I tried toftp into it it wouldn't let me in as I couldn't find the username and password for it, so I tried to put an openpli image on and since then it flashes from the usb pen but won't start-up? Got the "starting..." message on the front panel, I even tried a blackhole nemesis image and got the same result. If this is a clone as I now suspect it is, which is the right image to use?? Thanks.

clones will still accept those images so its not that..Have you got a usb in the box when booting or anything matey?

No mate, goes through the hole process, and won't work? Used all 3 usb ports too?

Sounds like the receiver has an old kernel. Go to open pli site use a old version.
