usb harddrive

is it possible to use a internal harddrive, and a external harddrive on a sol2 bh 2.0.3. i've got a internal hd in the vu, but i've got a spare 2.5 sata 500gb.is it worth getting a inscloser and plug it in thru usb will it work on hd. or change it setup.can i use both hds.

The internal hdd is set to something like media/hdd and my external gets used on my pc or front usb socket for the odd fi!m. I think I have it as /usb/personal or something like that.
I experimented with different settings but all just worked (maybe I was lucky ?)
The obvious setting for the external hdd is /usb/media but that can't be used because that's where epg & picons go...

Works fine hot-swapping so I would say say definitely give a go seeing as you can get a caddy for about a tenner these days.
