I know it will sound stupid but I would like to introduce myself to the forum (almost a month after registering and several messages already posted)
Sorry about that. I guess I registered, noticed some interesting thread and replied to it straight away without stopping to think that it would be nice to introduce myself first. After the first post came another and so on..
Only noticed today that of all the forums I am a member of, this is the only one I haven`t posted anything to say hallo first.
As for me, I `m on the Sat scene since the early 1990s., but only in a hobbyist capacity and to a limited extent. Occasionally I help to install a dish or go motorised to friends and friends of my friends and also family, or help setup a receiver or fix minor faults in their equipments or correct mistakes in their setups. I enjoy reading technical forums, to which quite a few I`m a member.Taken a leave of absence in the last couple of years but now back , hungrier than ever ;) Do need a lot of help myself but whenever possible I try and help too. Or share anything that I found interesting
Regards,
Simon
