Hi

I am on day two of trying to set up my VU+ Solo 2 and i am stuck at the first hurdle

SET UP
VU+ SOLO2
STANDARD SKY DISH (pointing the way it was installed)
BLACKHOLE IMAGE (latest)

THE PROBLEM

The problem i am having is i can't seem to config my tuners all it says is "nothing connected".
If i try and scan it says "nothing to scan please config your tuners"

I have googled it countless times but to no avail, please could someone point me in the right direction :(

Do you want just the channels at 28.2e ? if yes the download them from the addons server via the green button.

m pressuming from the second picture under satalites it shouldnt say NOT CONNECTED?

change it to 28 east and save it

as the solo2 is twin tuner, you need to ensure cables are in both lnb inputs , or have tuner b mirror tuner a and have the feed into the lnb a input

I am guessing the wire fitted by sky, the copper is just about long enough, i unplugged them both and reset them and we are in business.
Now all i have to do is figure how to operate the thing lol.

The problem i was having it wouldnt let me change it.

My next job is backing up these setting's :)

Worry about that when you have everything you want, 28.2 settings change every few days so you will always be scanning and updating.

really? I think I may of biten off more than I can chew with this venture. I have a black line about 3 inches thick down the right side of my screen, nothing showing on the epg, a load of channels that are just 4-5 digit numbers and about 5 different versions of the same channels I.e bbc north west, London Midlands.

O this is going to be fun.
