Hi fellas,
3 months in and I'm ready to have another go. I never did get BISS working and I need to start from scratch. :what:
As suggested last time I asked I've been trawling through the dreambox , vu and BISS archives trying to get clues as to what I'm doing wrong.
Mgcamd works fine. BH 2.03. I can get fta channels on 39e or 10e.
I have some questions, if you'd be so kind:
To clear BISS what keyfile should be in usr/keys? Softcam.key right?
Reading through, constant.cw can interfere so delete this?
What format should the keys be in?
Should each line be repeated or not?
I 2600 00 etc or what? Which is the right format for Vu+solo 2 and is this the same as for dreambox? (So I can hopefully edit key texts in future without screwing everything up!)
Chmod: set everything to 644? 755? As long as it's one of these, does it make a difference?
Oh, and mg_cfg where does this go? And box type set to 00 or 06 for solo2?
