Hello, I was wondering if anyone else had problems with replay/watching recorded material from their hdd's after using the fast forward or rewind. I have noticed that most times when I have recorded a prog and later watch it and fast forward through the adverts the picture becomes very high in contrast on the recorded content and also on air. The only way to rectify this is to re boot. Anyone any idea's what it could be, HDD or VU+? Anyone else have the same problem?

Not had any issues on my Vu+ Duo, rather than FF or REW, why not alter the time lapse for buttons like I have done, skips through minutes at a time. My set up:
1 - rewind 1 minute 3 - fast forward 1 minute
4 - rewind 3 imnutes 6 - fast forward 3 minute
7 - rewind 5 imnutes 9 - fast forward 5 minute

I suppose it may also depend on which image and version of os is being used
yesterdays BH V2.05 listed various fixes, and I know my bh v2.01 on my duo wont rewind on divx playback as it gives an error message saying so
so possibly an image update may suffice, unless you are using vix and have applied any auto updates ?

Thanks for that info echelon, I'm still on BH V2.01 have not had the courage to update to a newer one, in case I screw it all up. Never though it could be the image. Ive got ccam 2.30 saved on my computer so may give it a go, shame as its so stable otherwise. I know if I update it will all need setting up again, Lee did it for me when I purchased it so I cannot take any credit for its smooth running up to now. My HDD is a Tosh 750Gb 7200 spinspeed external unit.
