hi there I want to connect two spider boxes to one motorised dish ,I only want to use one at a time so would just the use of a/b switch be all I need ,would using two upset any settings thanks.

that is certainly one method of doing it and no settings need to be altered, just ensure the box you are using or testing or working on has lnb access at the time of use
loopthrough method can also be used instead of the switch but needs the main box to be on standby when using the second box (for full use by the second box)
so go ahead with your A-B switch if that is easiest for you, no settings will be upset

I'm doing this just with one spliter !

That splitter shouldn't work. It only passes DC on 1 leg.

the BEST solution - twin LNB to both boxes. i was looking at this - its the most failsafe way.

hi there I tested it the other day on a top field box I used to use and when I moved to say one west it went way out to some other sat I thought it would just work please any idea why not .cheers
