hi...quick question to any people using a protek (mine is a protek 9760 hd ip)
my protek used to auto update once or twice a week
i have not had a update now for over a month
my question is... is anyone still getting auto updates to the protek
the bouquets i have got..are now loseing lots of channels (now scrambled)
but in the past a auto update as put them back...
or is it my box (that for some reason it is not auto updateing)
and i can not get onto the protek forum to ask or view anything relievent to my question
any feedback would be appriciated

yes i know...but when i do turn off and on...no update...for nearly 1 month
so was interested to know if anyone as had update to their box..in last month...
because if they have...that means its my problem...

From what i see on other forums, members are loading their own lists.

Press menu button and if it shows 0.1.200x in the R.H.S. of the screen then you are up to date.

Which sat's are you loosing, dont mention names of bouquets, but give me a clue and I will check against mine.

Avon at 13 is down most of the time, only a few open there.
S*y 13 have had a change to a lot of HD, you will have to rescan.

i have a 9750 and had to do a rescan of 19e to get back some channel which i thought wasn't working but back up and running after rescan.

i got my channels back...by doing factory reset
then scanning sats i use...ie 28.2 east..13 east...16east...19east.. 39east..0.8 west...and others..
they all arrived back in lists...

Yes I have just been on the forum, and the latest key is supposed to update the following:

key 222 with extended french biz-package on 19.2/13.0 and the return of the pizzas!

However Not for the 9700 or 9750 receivers.

yep, 13e first followed by 19.2e, both gone. 28e next I reckon and very soon.

i did do a factory reset and a complete rescan of the sats i use
....

i'm not on protek although I do believe a certain provider are currently taking measures to prevent HD channels working. have a search around the web for more info. HD channels are black on my SB9900, so could just be affecting certain receivers or cards for now, but it does seem to be happening as I type. 13e went 2 days ago with 19e today....

all 19e hd working fine on protek that should be working

fish n chips and pizzas are back alright - pizzas with mostly standard toppings though..
btw, there is still a possibility to get the old 9700/9750 back online. the df just don't want a wholesale discussion about it.

Surely 1080i, is your TV Display, and as troja stated in post 26 you know where to contact him, which is the Protek Forum, as the Protek receivers are not supported on this forum, and as far as I am aware there were very few Protek users on here, and even less with the Protek MK-1 which is all but obsolete as there is very little support for it even on the Protek Forum, so it would appear as though you are : beatdeadhorse5:
