If you have used an E2 based STB in the past it will be a breeze. If you have not used an E2 based STB in the past then with a little reading up it will still be a breeze :)

Besides this is a great forum where you will be supported 100%. So don't let anything hold you back. :)

the thing is will i need to use a serial port for the duo2 at the moment iv got a lap top and a newlink usb serial adaptor that seems not to work

Nope for normal usage you will never need it.

Best box I have ever had, solo2 is great but this has the edge.

iv just been thinking iv a sky dish and a 1.2 meter dish 42 east to 58 west with posisnor would i be beter off with the solo 2
