please help what do i need to get spiderbox hd 900 working

hi all my names shazz, and would appreciate any help on this subject, I am i want to buy this spider box (https://www.goldwafers.co.uk/Spiderbox/) hd 900, my son as he has been moaning on for one, so am going to try get one with out messing it up and buy the wrong thing being a a woman ha-ha,

its a Spiderbox (https://www.goldwafers.co.uk/Spiderbox/) HD 9000 with usb pvr sat receiver with remote and power lead.:second hand but fully working, of ****,
i wanted to no if i would have to buy anything else separate to get it to work, i was told i need 3 card (https://www.goldwafers.co.uk/Viewing-Cards/)s forgot the name of the card (https://www.goldwafers.co.uk/Viewing-Cards/)s but i think it fits in the spiderbox (https://www.goldwafers.co.uk/Spiderbox/)??? is this for extra channels ??? and do i need a satalite dish,to connect to the box?if so what size and what kind?
i have no sky dish, like i say peeps any help would be grateful,my son wants to watch at the races and racing.com,as he wants to be a jockey he says, would it pick them up,honust guys i don't really no what to buy and where from as i say i can buy Spiderbox (https://www.goldwafers.co.uk/Spiderbox/) HD 9000 with usb pvr sat receiver with remote and power lead.:second hand, but when asking the buyer he suggested i come here.do i need extra apart from help lol.

firstly , they are no longer made so second hand is the only option for the 7000 or 9000 or 9900 , the only new one is a 6000HD from goldwafers

if its second hand and hasnt been patched it needs the latest patch installing from our firmware section (using a usb stick - full details are in the tutorials section)

yes you need a satellite dish with lnb, and for sly that dish has to point at the satellites at 28e, which is what a sly contractor would do if he fitted one. he would also cable it to your room where the box would reside too, so that the box can be connected up to the lnb on the sly dish

channels like you want are scrambled so need methods of unscrambling which we do not discuss on this forum (and is also banned on most forums)

in theory , you need a sly card from a valid sly subscription to watch those channels, which you can just as easily do with a subscription to sly, using one of their dedicated boxes and a sly dish pointed at 28e. if you are in the uk you either need a zone 1 39cm dish fitted in england and wales , or the larger 59cm zone 2 dish if in ireland or scotland

if you are NOT in the uk, bigger dishes are required, subject to your location
