Hi i live in malaga spain now aljazeera sports has moved to nile sat i am having trouble picking up signals i get about 300 channels but not aljazeera sport hd i had no trouble on hotbird i have an 80cm motorised dish can any body advise if the dish is large enough for receivig nilesat. Too small, check king of sat for footprint.you're closer to the intended footprint than us here in the uk so it should be no problem with the right sized dish ask around locally and see if others can pick the sat and what sized dish they use

its also reported in the news recently that in october 2013 many of the uk channels will change to new transponders and satellite at 28.2e meaning those in southern europe will need a bigger dish for those channels too

this may be after astra 2E enters service

I would have thought 80cm in malaga would have a good chance of getting AJ? A lad I know in glossop is picking up Al Jazeera HD 1-4 at 50% SNR off a 97cm motorised.

Edit: just checked satbeams and that says you should be able to get it with a 70cm dish! Should be no probs :)
