6000 hd power supply

why as the power supply on the 6000 got 2 connectors on the lead when you only need one that you plug in the box ...

Was wondering that myself, until I discovered that the spare one fits my YouView box :) Now I use only one PSU to power two devices. It gives enough juice to power them both at the same time, although I only ever use one when the other is in sleep mode.(for testing kept both boxes ON for couple of days non stop and it worked ok)
