recording on hdd

if i record on my hdd then plug it into another tv to view it wont recorgnise it i have format it to fat32 any help would be great thanks all

which spiderbox are you referring to...my spider 9000hd records and plays back in any tv...formatted in fat 32
my protek records in ts format...which plays fine connected to box, but on any other tv will not play

if you are referring to spider 6000 (which i do not own so can not check) that may be recording in ts or some other format that tvs do not recognise

anything i want to keep recorded on my protek...i convert using convert x to dvd...

Probably your TV doesn't support it .
