I don't think the firmware officially supports it for doing the whole arc (don't know why this should be the case) but you can blindscan each individual satellite.

Don't know is honest answer.
Remember some talk on here and the other site about Duo 2 having full blindscan abilities and questioning why solo 2 can't do the same.
I know your question is a technical one but I've never noticed the difference

Simon, what is blindscan?
I'm assuming the fuss is about being able to scan all satellites in a multisat setup at once?
If it's satellite by satellite then solo2 can already do this without new drivers, surely.
If blindscan is being able to scan for all tps and frequencies on a satellite then we already have this?
Genuine questions. Just trying to understand the clamour. :sly:

blindscan "blindly" scans a satellite for any active transponders - and then once its got the tp's in its memory\database, it scans them for channels

The tuners are fixed (hard wired to the board) on the Solo2, in the Duo2 there removable.

do we know yet, if the tuners on solo2 support hardware blindscan, or only the duo2 ones

Do you think that will be possible in the future?
