Hi guys - after testing out the blackhole image I noticed backing up an image straight to the usb drive was not as easy as it could be. I decided to make a small plugin to make things easier:
This plugin does the following:
1 - Copy a box backup from the hard drive to the front usb port (flashdrive).
2 - Create an box image straight to the front usb port (flashdrive).
3 - You can delete it easily if you don't like it.
Not much more to say that - tested on a vu+duo2 using blackhole 2.0.5 rev b
FTP to tmp and telnet into your box issuing the following command:
tar -xzvf /tmp/backupshifter.tar.gz
After installation - restart enigma for the plugin to show up in your plugins.
