6000 epg & Blackdevil Chan list.

Hi Everyone. Can i check a couple of things re the 6000. I understand it has 7 day epg, does this include sly uk ? Also, is Blackdevils chan list just IKS specific or does it include all major providers including those not covered by 12 month pre installed gift.

I doubt that it has 7 day epg , never worked properly on its older siblings !

most receivers have that ability , subject to it being an open epg

it certainly will not give you the ones on 28 east which are bespoke and closed epg systems

If you go to ZDF HD you will get 7days EPG .
There are also other channels provide 7 days EPG .
I don't really know if there is a specific Radio or TV channel from S*y Uk that can download 7 days EPG to all package or part of it .
My channel list includes most satellites and a selection of most important channels .
Some channels that missing means that they can't be received from me .
My favorite lists include IKS channels .

Thanks Blackdevil, I was asking as my spider 9000 seems to have seen better days & am considering my next move. I would probably not even use the IKS as I use other methods which is why is was asking re your chan list.I am a little bit concerned re the reduction of chans, if this would cover the amount i can view. Does your list cover the sly uk provider? I was considering a vu solo2, but considering the rumours re cs , I dont really want to spend the £300 plus & the 6000 still seems like good value.

As a SB6000 user ( since April) I can honestly say that it is a best value for money receiver there is atm. As for your Sly requirement, NO there is no such thing on the box, but you can always scan in 28east and organize the channels to your liking, if you have the means to receive the channels from that sat position. The box will let you use the c or n lines but you do it at you own peril

My channel list covers the most channels of S*y UK package except the tp i cannot receive so everyone who use my channel list has to rescan the extra channels .
You can use the channel editor to take an idea what my channel list contains .
It has less than 4000 channels & 2000 tp but you will see that covers the most satellites and the most important channels .

on 28e , yes there is, and its used on some other boxes, but not on any spiderbox , past or present

I add it manually and stayed there for 10min. but i didn't manage to download 7days EPG for this package .
We need to analyze it .

Its more than just loading the tp, sw has to be altered.

Yes i know it but i must find the correct infos so we can try then .
For example Nova Gr. use a non-standard pid, 0x1388, on transponders 12130H and 10930H
On standard pid 0x12 they only transmit now/next epg
PID found: 18 (0x0012) [SECTION: Event Information Table (EIT) - other transport stream, present/following]
For 7days EPG :
PID found: 5000 (0x1388) [SECTION: Event Information Table (EIT) - other transport stream, schedule]
Also other packages use similar methods.
