Help hd6000

I have a spiderbox hd6000 i load my channels on to usb and rename it to a mylist.ssu ,the problem is when i load the channels into channel editor v1 none of it is in English its loads of punctuation marks.Any help would be great.

Are you sure you are using the correct editor? You need to use this one and this one only: https://www.satpimps.co.uk/showthread.php?162971-Spiderbox-Smartbox-HD6000-Channel-Editor-1st-Version
If you use the one from previous versions of spiderboxes you get the symptoms like you do.
Edit: ALso the file needs to be made on the 6000 originally,I tried to modify the 9000 list to ssu and it came back the same dots hashes and all

Cheers for the reply,i have downloaded the editor in your link and downloaded blackdevil hd6000 channel list and its still doing the same?

Its way above my expertise, hopefully blackdevil himself(anyone that knows better?) would be able to sort this one for you. I was merely hoping that you simply used the wrong editor or the list, as I am 101% sure that you are doing something wrong as the editor from blackdevil works 100% if used correctly with correct files, in fact I used it today with the blackdevils chlist (to test what I have written earlier in this thread)

Maybe the problem is your PC's Windows ?

just tested the editor and the latest blackdevil ssu channel list, no problem using win8

All sorted now i done it on my sons pc so must of had something to do with my pc.Thanks for all the help.
