How do I configure Solo2's Tuner A&B with 2 LNBs and a motor?

Hi,

I have a Solo2 with the following connection and configuration:

SOLO2 Connection:

1. My connection from Solo2, LNB1, goes to motor and then to LNB port 1 on the dish (motorised LNB port1)
2. My connection from Solo2, LNB2, goes directly to LNB port 2 on the dish.

My Tuner configuration is as follows:

1. Tuner A: Positioner: USALS
2. Tuner B: Second cable of motorized LNB Tuner A:

With the above connections and setup I can tune to any satellite using Tuner A only.

Can anyone help and/or advice how I can configure the two Tuners so that I can watch a channel from Tuner A and record from Tuner B?

If I have understood you correctly it looks like you have it spot on already. I assume as you say the second cable goes to LNB port 2 then you must have a dual or quad LNB.
Obviously you will only be able to watch one channel and record another on the same satellite but your set up seems right to me. Have you tried it?

In your enigma2 individual satellite setup menus you should also see the option to set LNB1 and LNB2. The simple way to do it is to set everything on Tuner A to LNB1 and everything on Tuner B to LNB 2.

It's all very confusing, but that's how it's done on every enigma2 receiver.
