Spider Box 6000HD connection problems, IKS working but no CCCam?

I have owned a spiderbox for quite a few years. I bought the 6000 thinking it would be as good as the 9900 but finding it difficult to get things working.

Im currently using the lastest patch and have got the IKS working but no CCCam, it will not connect.
I know the Clines are working because I have used them on another box today and they work fine.

can somebody put me out of my misery please

i had the same problem with the n-line turned out to be just a space in the text that shouldn't have been there

yes I thought about that, but I have been over the thing with a fine toothcomb
tried them in two boxes that are identicle and changed patches and reinstalled them in different positions having learned that number 1 line can be funny

why cant they just have used the cfg file like the 9000? lol

try put them in in the 2nd line down

there are a lot of good pointers and explanations regarding lines in there, with examples

but bear in mind that if you have any spurious spaces you wont see them onscreen, but they could still be there !!

also do not use the c colon space or n colon space in any line you have been given , the important part starts with the hostname

port
name
pass

and deskey if its an N line, which is usually the default deskey anyway

Using first or last line ,all lines work .
There is no issue .
I have tested by myself .
If your line is active you will see green light and the number of card-s .

Could the problem be im not putting in the ip address in but the server address?

normally the host server name is put in the ip or server address , so usually it is the hostname

like example.dyndns.com , using a full stop between each part, and no spaces before or after

Thanks for all your help guys much appreciated, I changed the font of the lines and hey presto there was a problem there

changed to a different line and hey presto up and running.... I couldn't see the forrest for the trees!

there are at least 2 recent spiderbox 6000 channel lists in our spiderbox channel list section

be aware on 6000 smartbox the default text when adding a line is capitals,tap the yellow button to change to small case,this may or not be the same in each smartbox,hope this helps someonenow for a difficulty I have,my box gliches and freeze's occasionally and does not respond to the remote.I have changed to my 9000 and all seems to be good,maybe someone can add some comment as to why it would be helpful,regards

Maybe your channel list is corrupted somehow .
Delete the specific channels which are causing this problem and rescan them .
Can you inform us which are these channels so we can also test ?
