But you got the answer Simon didn`t you? IT will not work as it is not compatible. ANy patch ch.list or even editor states exactly the model it`s for. I agree it would be nice to be able to use excellent lists that people created for other models of spiderboxes, but if it isn`t possible then we have to use what we can, or (my favourite) do our own lists. SOme things just don`t match (like my wife, she is a woman but somehow she is incompatible with the kitchen so I do the cooking myself :D

Nice one Roadrunner, time some newbies 'gave' some thing instead of 'take', that how a Forum should work.
Like 'have a go' and make a channel list to your OWN requirements, then post it for others.
All viewers tastes differ anyway.

well hope some day we can use the older spider boxs patches to go with the spider box 6000 i will look in to this if it is posible

You can look as hard as you like but it will never change:

Spiderbox HD 7000, 9000 & 9900 channel lists are Not compatible with the New Spiderbox HD 6000 receivers, as the 6000 Uses a different CPU.

Come on guys where is the difficulty in making a channel list, you have 2 editors, one built in, one external, several dam good Frequency web sites, you can even use a current BillyBits list for the frequencies/channels that YOU want in a list, have a go. You could have made one today.

Did it ever occur to you that BillyBits may not have a Spiderbox 6000HD, and if so then he will not be able create a list for that receiver, and furthermore he will not be able to convert one of his other Spiderbox lists as the 6000 has a different CPU, as has already been stated before in this thread.

I dont believe billy has a 6000 which would explain why he hasnt made a list

maybe those wanting it done will club together and buy billy a new 6000 and he will then make you 123 people a list, a case of scratching each others backs and not leeching ;)
