OK simon I will answer you, oh sorry meant den? The simple answer to that is, Yes scan the UK satellite for the UK. As for it being a spiderbox 6000 ? It makes no difference? and what I mean by that is with any box you scan a satellite to see what's on that sat and keep or delete as YOU see fit?

If you mean what satellites you can receive, to scan in, then we need to know how big your dish is, and your general location.
Are you using Usals or Diseqc, to move your motor?
If in the UK then even a small dish should get a lot of channels, the most popular satellites would be 0.8W, 5E, 13E, 16E, 19E, 23.5E, 28.2E, 39E and 42E, but there are quite a few others, why not load a ready made channel list, to check out what you can receive.
You can find out a full list, of satellites, and channels,on lyngsat.com, or other satellite web sies, and there is a list of satellites, and the strongest transponders, on the forum.

Only you will know which satellites that you prefer to watch channels on, then try others which you may also like to view channels on, bearing in mind that your receiver can only store a maximum of 6000 channels.
