an lnb like the inverto ultra black or technomate gold may help, but you should be getting channels like FOX and ROTANA on transponder 11296H 27500 anyway

also try jsc sports news on 12476 V 27500

all free to air and working on my spiderbox

Got fox and rotana but no signal so not geting out i mite be doing something rong dont think i am would it be worth changing l m b

until you get fox and rotana and jsc sports news fta its a waste of time changing any lnb,s as your current lnb should be ok to get those fta channels

concentrate in getting those channels first

also

test 5w for test card on gcpe 1 on 12543 H 27500 and the french channels on 11591 V 20000

and test 8w for channels like cairo drama and top 50 on 10972 H 27500

I have got a new horizon1.2 offset dish a ICECRYPT UNIVERSAL SINGLE LMB 0.1db +wa and a new horizon NH 210 disqc motor

It`s actually a 1.1 dish the seller quoted the height ( Long axis diameter: 120cm ) instead of the width ( Small axis diameter: 110cm ) but mentioned the aperture diameter ( Aperture diameter: 110cm ) this package is available on the fl**** site.

Will try do you use usals gone from a 90 cm dish to a 1.2 thinking mite be in with a chance

yes, using usals and my spiderbox list

do a check to make sure you get 5 west and 8 west, just to be sure you are on the money

usals should be around 002.1w , 53.5n

kieron56

It is set at 002.3 west and 53.5 north

ok, well in that case its set correctly , so I would double check the arc by checking fta channels on 46e and 42e , 0.8w at the top of the arc , and 30w and 45w on the other side (if you can track them all from your location - no buildings or walls or trees in the way)

kieron56

Geting 46e free to air and 42e 0,8 also 30 west very good not showing 45 west i have 45 e but that ok to

Sorry was talking to someone else trying to get 7west or 7.3

echelon
26-09-2013, 10:18 PM
well , it seems to be tracking the arc reasonably well, your usals is 100% correct for M25 and I cannot see any obvious reason why you do not get those fta channels on 7w or 7.3w

I suppose the arc could be slightly out but its not obvious due to you getting 5w and 8w , and no change of lnb will make it work as you should get some channels on 7w with almost any lnb including the one you have already

now if you have some obstruction in the way it wont work, but as 8w is very close to 7w it would mean not getting 8w too, but you get 5w and 8w so no reason why 7w is missing

I am doing a blind scan on 7 .west and it has found some will see when it has finished scaning

echelon
26-09-2013, 10:28 PM
be careful with blind scanning multiple sats as you could bust the maximum channel or maximum transponder allowances !!

you cannot just scan every sat in as there are finite limits on your box

I uploaded my channel list which you are welcome to use, just change the usals afterwards to 002.3w , 53.5n if using it

kieron56
26-09-2013, 10:29 PM
Looking at some of the channels it has found on 7.west doing a blind scan dont look like the channels for 7 west got blue sat up and it shows what channels or on 7 west but they not the same what i am geting on the blind scan i am doing

kieron56
26-09-2013, 10:30 PM
Can i try your channel list thanks

echelon
26-09-2013, 10:30 PM
blind scanning is only any good for feed hunters (its also something I never do too)

I would suggest you use a premade list like mine or billybits and customise it to suit yourself

kieron56
26-09-2013, 10:43 PM
Did scan on 7.west got 131 channels but they dont look like the channels i should get on 7.west

echelon
26-09-2013, 10:47 PM
not surprising when 8 west is close by, as I said, forget blind scanning and do manual scans only or use a premade list

kieron56
