Did you follow all of the instructions as posted in this part of the procedure:

Go to Menu / Sat Settings, scroll down the left hand list and click OK to select all the Sats you want to scan, this will give them a tick.
Right arrow across, scroll down to Motor, right arrow to select ‘Diseq/Usals’, OK, Scroll down to Mode, select Drive to Satellite, scroll down to Set Location, OK, Scroll down Set Long then Lat then save, scroll to Go ‘Save Data and run’ thats it.

Now to scan, Goto Menu / Automatic Sat Scan scroll down to ‘Scan select’ and change to ‘All Sat’, thats it, go get a coffee while it scans.

If using USAL's you will have to input the coordinates for your location.

Have you already manually stored all the satellite positions, using Diseqc?

Checdk out the strongest transponder list, on the forum, and try scanning these into your receiver.
Are you are using a V-Box II, as you're using Diseqc 1.2?
What size dish do you have?
Which satellites have you already got scanned in?

Have you got a back up, of your channel list?
Have you set your East/West limits? If you set these limits incorrectly your dish will not move far enough to get some satellites.
I think it might be wise to start from scratch, and best to wait until tomorrow, so you can view your dish, as you're setting it up.
When using Diseqc 1.2, to set up your motor, it's probably best to start at your nearest true south satellite, probably 0.8W, then after setting your limits, add each available satellite in turn. so start at 0.8W then move east, 3e, 5e, 7e, 9e, 10e, 13e, 16e, 19.2e, 23.5e, 26e, 28.2e, 39e, once you've finished the eastern section move back to 0.8w and do the westerly satellites.

Just read your last post, as you already have 30W to 28.2E, then adding other satellites should be easy. Move to 13E, go into the motor menu and select 9E, then move west, right arrow, until you maximize the signal.
Once found save this, then do the same for 7E, 5E, 3E, and 0.8W.

If you go to post #18 in the following link, you will see a list of the strongest transponders on the Sats that you wish to store and scan:
