Channel list and crossEPG on usb stick,

Can I have my channel lists and picons and also crossEPG downloader all installed on a usb stick? If so how do I do it please:respect-040:

Best plug your USB stick into a USB
slot on the back of your STBox and
use it to store EPG.
less clutter on HDD.
Need to mount the USB stick as
(Media/USB).

I just FTP catseye Channel
setting to STBox using Wi Fi
connection on router.
Takes 30 seconds to FTP
6000 new channel's to Uno.

I don't think you can put channel lists on a USB stick. I think all enigmma2 boxes put channel settings in /etc/enigma2/ in the flash.

As previous post says, you can put some EPG files on a USB stick.

EDIT: I just remembered that the Blackhole team have processes (called meoboot & parallel universe) to put the /etc/ & /usr/ folders onto the USB stick. This would achieve what you want and put the channel lists on the USB stick. Don't know if it is possible with other images.

set up usb stick as /media/usb

in epg global settings change save path to /media/usb/epg.dat
