remote problems

hi my remote on my spiderbox hd 7000 has gone all weird the exit button turns the receiver off i cannot access the satelite menu the menu button isnt working other buttons are turning the volume up or down its puzzling me any ideas guys

There is a default reset code, you could try that. I can't remember the code but try searching the forum.
If you haven't found it I'll search the forums later, when I get home.

Maybe you have VCR or DVD or TV in use instead of STB, this is just a suggestion and not the answer.

buy a new one and dont let the wife spill wine all over it in future ;)

You could still have a standby in case of further spillages, or kids with sticky fingers who just love pressing buttons

The 7000 remote does not have VCR or DVD or TV only the 9000 and 9900 its not multifunction like the 9000
