Hi I usually like to work out problems myself but this one seems to have me stumped
Purchased a 6 degree with one output monobloc from ******s
As my 1.1 metre dish was already sitting at 19 east I mounted monobloc on dish set Diseqc switch in satellite settings to 1/4
and put Hotbird 13E as 2/4 I then had a full signal on 19e and no signal on 13e
I then moved dish to 13e and made it the focal lnb then made hotbird 1/4 in diseqc and 19e 2/4
I then had a full signal on 13e and no signal on 19e
I have checked all the obvious such as 19e lnb is east of 13e lnb
And made the 19e lnbs slightly higher than the 13e
My box is a Spiderbox 6000hd and i cant find much information about the switching config
Where am I going wrong?

I don't think its the 6000, because I got a A/B Diseqc switch on my dishes, The "A" output is on my Motor dish LNB and the "B" output is on 30W fixed dish, and I set all my Satellite Settings page option "DiSEqC 1.0/1.1" for all the sats from 0 to 1/4, except 30W which I set to 2/4, and it works fine.

I also don't have a DiSEqC motor (so motor setting = None), I got a 36V standalone Postitioner, so you may be having problems with your cabling, double check that the output of your 6000 is named SAT IN (not loop out) and that it is going to the OUTPUT of the Diseqc switch, and the other two connectors (mine are called LNB1 and LNB2) go to the correct LNB on your monobloc, so I assume your dish is fixed, if not then its simply going to the wrong motor position.

Easy to test, get 13E working as this is your focal LNB, then just power down the 6000 (or you could short out the LNB output voltage), remove the cable from the 13E LNB and check it doesn't work on the 6000 after powering up with the LNB disconnected.

Repeat and move the same cable that was connected to the 13E LNB to the 19E LNB, and power up the 6000 and change the "DiSEqC 1.0/1.1" setting to what the 13E was set at, then check the 19E channels are working (you could have also simply bypassed the diseqc switch by removing it and connecting the cable directly to the box). This then proves your your dish is working on both 13E and 19E, and you can label both the LNB's and cables as LNB 1 (13E) and LNB 2 (19E).

Could be that you got LNB 1 and LNB 2 cables swapped, or you got the Diseqc switch wired wrong, or its not compatible with the 6000 and isn't switching over to the LNB 2, again this is easy to test, just swap around the settings...

Hope that helps.

Forgot to say, check the 6000 sat setting on both 13E & 19E that the LNB is 9750/10600 it so easy to change this by accident.
Also you can't fit a monoblock to a motorised dish, unless the sat position number are the same ;-)

the sats are reversed on a fixed dish so the astra 19e is to the west and slightly higher than the 13e hotbird lnb

check our dish forum and lnb forum for further info

Thanks I did not know Sats are reversed from the focal point
